The New Zealand Calligraphers is a non-profit group of calligraphers, lettering artists and people who share a love of creating beautiful words and letters.
Where possible members are encouraged to attend the Society’s monthly meetings. From 2017 meetings will be on the first Sunday of each month to allow members outside of Auckland to join in. Meetings are a social, friendly affair and usually feature guest speakers or a workshop.
Sunday 2nd July
We hope you can join us at our next meeting on Sunday 2nd July from 3pm – 5pm. We will each be creating our own Calligraphy Journal over the next year, adding to its pages month by month. This Sunday we will make the basic journal and start one page, then each month add various ideas for backgrounds and new fonts to try. In the end you will have a permanent record of the skills you have mastered, and a beautiful journal to keep.
